As the Tasmanian Cider Industry notes, "with passionate producers, fantastic future leaders and amazing research institutes, we are growing a world-class industry here on the Apple Isle. Maddy's Honours project was strongly supported by the Tasmanian cider industry and it was aligned to the needs of the sector. The best thing is that industry has already adopted some of the findings of her research. This is a great example of industry collaboration and support for a young future leader. FermenTasmania looks forward to following Maddy on her PhD journey! Congratulations!
